About Vic Wilk

Vic began his golf career at age two and played in his first National golf tournament at age 5. In his junior career he won over one hundred southern California tournaments. Most notable are his three Junior World championship titles.

Vic attended California State University at Northridge where he was a four time All-American and winner of the 1982 NCAA Division II Championships. He was inducted into the CSU Northridge Hall of Fame in 1990.

Vic’s professional career has spanned over 21 years and includes-

Playing in 18 different countries.
He won the PGA/Nationwide Knoxville Open in 1994. Vic was the first left hander to win on the Nationwide Tour.
2002 Vic won the Nevada Open with a record setting 20 under par for the three round tournament.

Vic has experienced training with a number of world class instructors:

  • Greg McHatton-Southern California Instructor of the year
  • Hank Johnson-2004 PGA teacher of the year
  • Paul Runyon-World Golf Hall of Fame
  • Stan Utley-Short Game Teacher to PGA Tour players

Through his playing and education experiences with the golf swing he has gained the ability to impart his knowledge to players of all abilities including touring professionals, top amateurs and others. Among touring professionals he has worked with;

Vic has been featured on the Golf Channel “Profile of a Pro” and has hosted “Inside the PGA Tour”.

YOUNG SLAMMER — Vic Wilk, shown with some of his recently won Tournament Trophies, took his four cut-down golf clubs to nearby Willowbrook Golf Club recently and shot 56 for nine holes.

TV, MOVIES, GOLF — After scoring 49 in his first six holes of golf at the age of three, Vic Wilk is apparently on his way greater things.

The All-American Tyke — All-around athletes have to start young if they want to master a lot of sports. Few, however, start younger than 3-year-old Vic Wilk, and fewer show as much talent in as many pastimes.
CUPS RUNNETH OVER — Vic Wilk of Sepulveda had rounds of 55-51-59—165 to give him a record-equaling total—matching that of James Moeller of La Jolla las year— as he won the boy's 10 under.
Junior World Tourney Won By Local Lad — Vic Wilk 8, winner of the Junior World Golf championship in the 10-and-under division at San Diego, began playing golf before his third birthday!
